How to Create Panorama Photography with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

To make one of the most popular photography styles, panorama photography, there are two ways to make it. Take a photo with a wide-angle lens and crop the photo into 16:9. It looks like a panorama, but it’s not. So the second way is to photograph it separately and then stitch it together. And in this digital era, you need post-processing software. In this tutorial, we will use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

How to Create Panorama Photography with Lightroom and Photoshop


First, import your entire photos into Lightroom.


Tips: Don’t make any adjustments just yet.

Just select the entire photos that you want to make a panorama. Then right-click on one of them->merge->panorama or ctrl/cmd+m


The software will process it automatically and stitch them all. Then the panorama merge box will open.

You can try all the projection options and choose the best one. Or just click Merge. To stitch all your photos into panorama photography.


Done. Then you can begin your adjustment.


To tell you the truth, I recommend for you create a panorama in Lightroom. Since it is easier. But in photoshop, it is more flexible to make adjustments and retouch, if you wanted to.

There are two ways to begin. You can start from Lightroom, by selecting the entire photo->right click->Merge to Panorama in Photoshop


Or you can do it directly from Photoshop.

Open Photoshop, on menu File->Automate->Photomerge. Then the Photomerge box will open.


Click on the Browse button and select the entire photo. Then click OK.


Wait a few seconds and the software gonna stitch the entire photos into panorama photography.
